Asbury Park Press Music Journalist Joan Pikula, Legendary DeeJays Scott Muni, Ed Sciaky Among Asbury Angels Honorees

Joan Pikula Asbury Angels Plaque
Music journalist Joan Pikula was inducted to the Asbury Angels on Sunday in a ceremony on the Asbury Park Boardwalk. Pikula provided coverage of Bruce Springsteen early in his career during her days on the entertainment beat for the Asbury Park Press.

Scott Muni Plaque
Plaque recognizing legendary New York disc jockey Scott Muni as a Guardian Angel. Muni’s days at WNEW-FM brought Bruce Springsteen to the New York airwaves, as well as numerous free concerts to the beach in Asbury Park.
Ed Sciaky Plaque
Guardian Angel plaque recognizing legendary WMMR Deejay Ed Sciaky. Sciaky helped pave the way to fame in the Philadelphia area for Bruce Springsteen.
